website Wednesdays: PodQueen a.k.a. Jennifer Roberts

Jennifer Roberts, wife of Dwayne Roberts has recently started her own website titled, PodQueen where she shares how God takes women seriously by building up women with the truth of God through her blog posts and pod casts.  

I’m delighted to see the Lord raising up more godly women to call their sisters into the truth of Christ.

I remember in high school when my pastor’s wife started a women’s small group with a group of us girls, it seemed quite a feat to find any quality material to study or read. Now seeing other godly women share their revelation and wisdom ten years later excites my heart! 

At first when I started to be more dedicated to my site, I doubted the effectiveness of it but I believe that’s just the enemy trying to discourage me from bringing light into the internet stratosphere. 

I’ve seen too many girls post demeaning photos of themselves and images of what they want to look like to stay silent any longer. With an ever growing popularity of blogging and readers who visit these sites, I felt the Lord call me to take myself seriously and open my mouth to speak forth the revelation He’s been storing up in me. 

Sometimes I do have to admit I wonder what good any of my posts are doing in the little realm I am affecting, but the Lord continues to remind me and gives me grace to trust and obey.
