Cashing in Your Prophetic Words

Starting Well

Though there’s only a week and a half left to January, there’s still time to not only make New Year’s resolutions but be equipped with proper tools to help you take hold of all that the Lord has in store for you this year.

This week, apart from my usual posts, I will be blogging about practical ways to live this year purposefully with the Lord.

Every day I’ll give you a little project to help you get on track and start off the year with a focused vision. These simple tasks (if you choose to take on my dare) will not only propel you towards God’s will for your life, but will also give you greater confidence to take hold of who the Lord says you are.

It’s time to stop being discouraged about where you’re not at, what you’re not doing and how you are not working out again (and etc…yes my list goes on and on as well) and start off the year well with the Lord.

We get further when we do things together! So let’s do this thing!

First Assignment: Review Your Prophetic Promises

During the first week of January, I felt the Lord remind me to look at prophetic words spoken over me through various people. Rather than feel discouraged about what has not yet come to pass in your own life, take time to listen to old tapes, flip through prophetic words you recorded in old journals sometime today.

As you look through them, ask the Lord to highlight which ones He wants you to focus on in this season. Write these promises down.

If you don’t have any prophetic words, ask the Lord to speak to you this week. Pay attention to seemingly “random” things people say to you or events that take place and write them down. He may speak to you through a friend, a movie, a dream etc.

Remember, His sheep hears His voice (John 10:3). He is a loving Father who loves to help His beloved daughters out (Matthew 7:9). If you don’t hear anything, keep waiting, for His Word speaks the truth and the truth is, He speaks!

So come prepared tomorrow with those words written down (if that’s possible. Don’t worry if it takes you longer than a day to hear from the Lord). It can be a long list or a short one don’t feel limited. I’ll tell you where we’re gonna go from there! YEAH! Exciting. : )

Lord, speak to Your beloved daughters today. Give us strength and revelation of Your love to agree with how You love us.
